Diosmin (the molecular component of this medication) is a naturally occurring flavonoid found in citrus foods. It helps to restore normal blood vessel function to treat the symptoms of CVI, including hemorrhoids, blood clots, and vericose or spider veins.
This medication doesn't have many serious side effects, but if you experience skin changes around a wound or lesion, pain or swelling with warmth and redness, or a severe allergic reaction, seek medical attention. Common side effects may include headache, upset stomach, swelling in your hands or feet, mild skin rash, and leg cramps.
