This medication is an ophthalmic antihistamine which relieves burning, itching, redness, watering, and other irritations of the eye by reducing the presence of naturally-occurring histamines. Please note: you should never touch the dropper to your eye, as this can worsen irritation or spread infections.
Most of the time, the only side effects experienced are mild irritation, such as feeling like something is in your eye, puffy eyelids, dry eyes, blurred vision, or an unusual taste in your mouth. These side effects only need your doctor's attention if they persist or get worse. However, some side effects may require you to stop taking Pazeo and talk to your doctor or receive immediate medical attention. These include: severe burning or stinging immediately after using this medication, severe discomfort, eye swelling, redness, or signs of infection such as crusting or unusual drainage.
