Moviprep is a prescription laxative that is used to treat constipation or prescribed to be taken to clean the bowel before surgical procedures or colonoscopies.
Side effects may occur after taking Moviprep. Some of these include diarrhea, nausea, bloating, cramping, vomiting and anal irritation. If any of these side effects are severe, call your doctor. Serious side effects that should be reported immediately include chest pain, vomit that contains blood or looks like coffee grinds, dizziness, fainting, seizures, severe abdominal pain, blood in stools, and shortness of breath.
