Duac is a topical gel that contains two antibiotics (clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide) that prevent bacteria from growing on the skin while also providing a drying effect that improves the ability to wash away excess oil and dirt. It helps treat mild to moderate acne.

  Duac Side Effects

Duac Side Effects:
Common side effects include redness, mild irritation including burning and stinging sensations, dry or peeling skin at the application site, and an itchy or tingly feeling. Although unlikely, some side effects can be severe and require immediate medical assistance, including: allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, hives, lightheadedness, swelling in the face or lips, swelling in the tongue or throat), severe redness and irritation (especially burning or stinging), worsening symptoms, heavily peeling skin at the application site, and watery or bloody diarrhea.
