Canasa Coupons and Discounts
Canasa is a rectal suppository that is used to treat the symptoms associated with active ulcerative proctitis. One suppository is applied every day at bedtime, preferably after a bowel movement. Because of its format and the fact that a generic and other brands aren't available as a suppository, the retail cost of Canasa can be very expensive -- upwards of $900 for a month's worth of medication. Fortunately, we offer a coupon and savings card for Canasa that reduces the price by as much as 75%. For more information about our discounts, Canasa suppositories, or a manufacturer coupon, please see the sections below.

Canasa is considered a 5-aminosalicylic acid (5-ASA). It works by preventing the production of certain natural substances which cause colon and rectum inflammation associated with mild or moderate forms of ulcerative proctitis.
For this medication to be effective, a suppository should remain inserted for 1 to 3 hours. Continue using your medication for the full prescribed time even if you start to feel better.
