If your doctor does not have any of these coupons he needs to get in touch with his Santarus representative who is responsible for Glumetza.
If he does not have a Santarus representative who promotes Glumetza, he should call the Santarus customer service center at 858-314-5700 and request that a representative stop by to explain how the program works and drop off the coupons.
If your doctor is unable to meet with a Santarus representative he may not be able obtain these coupons
- Patients may not request these coupons.
- Pharmacists may not request these coupons.
Only practitioners who normally prescribe diabetes medications (i.e., endocrinologists, family practitioners, internists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, etc.) qualify to participate in this program.
This program is generally not appropriate for doctors who do not routinely prescribe diabetes medicines (such as surgeons, retired doctors, allergists, dentists, gynecologists, cardiologists, oncologists, etc.)
